Constems AI has built CAInatics, an AI vision platform that gives consumer goods and retail companies real-time intelligence about what is happening on store shelves. The platform uses deep learning computer vision to track product availability, shelf placement, planogram compliance, and space planning KPIs across brick-and-mortar retail locations. Instead of waiting for weekly audits or relying on field reps' manual counts, brands get live out-of-stock alerts, share-of-shelf visibility, and actionable compliance data the moment conditions change on the floor. The system also covers Manufacturing 4.0 use cases, including quality control for food and beverage production lines, detecting foreign particle contamination and packaging defects at scale. Clients include Reckitt Benckiser, Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Nestle, ITC, and Johnson & Johnson. Headquartered in Noida, Constems AI was backed by IIM Lucknow, ONGC, SINE (IIT Bombay's incubator), and Upekkha, with technology partnerships across AWS, NVIDIA, Intel, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. The founding team brings deep industry experience in computer vision and enterprise deployments, and was selected by ITC after a rigorous evaluation of multiple startups for a flagship computer vision project. India's retail sector spans millions of kirana stores and modern trade outlets that global vision AI companies have neither the context nor the incentive to serve well.
