About Monk CI

Monk CI is a Bengaluru-built drop-in replacement for GitHub-hosted Actions runners, founded in 2025 by Ujjwal Prashant (CEO, ex-Deutsche Bank / EZAIX) and Nitin Mandale. As AI coding assistants increase commit and build volume, engineering teams face longer queues and higher CI cloud spend. Monk CI routes jobs to dedicated, pre-warmed high-performance VMs, swap a single runs-on label and keep existing workflows, secrets, and matrix builds unchanged. The platform claims up to 10x faster builds and up to 75% lower CI cost, with Docker layer caching and runners up to 32 vCPUs. Two AI agents sit on every failed build: one writes a plain-language root-cause summary on the PR, and another (in beta) diagnoses logs, opens a fix PR, and can post to Slack. Pricing is pay-as-you-go on runner minutes with free monthly credits for early orgs. Since launch, Monk CI has onboarded 15+ companies, secured industry certifications, and begun US pilot deployments, developer infrastructure for the AI-accelerated software factory.
